The DfE has published new ‘SEND risk assessment’ guidance over the weekend. You can read it here:
Its main thrust is for children with EHC plans who have behavioural difficulties or significant care needs. However it does refer to ‘sensory equipment’ and what it refers to as ‘qualified teachers of sensory impairments’ which will be of interest to members.
