Deafness and Education International is seeking applicants for Book Review Editor, Associate Book Review Editors, and Associate Review Editors. These reviewers will assist the Editors-in-Chief and Executive Editors, representing global regions.
Book Review Editor
The role of the Book Review Editor is to assist the Editors-in-Chief in managing the book review process. The Book Review Editor will be responsible for assigning reviews to the Associate Book Review Editors and attending an annual online Editorial Board meeting.
Associate Book Review Editor
The role of the Associate Book Review Editor is to review a minimum of one book annually and attending an annual online Editorial Board meeting.
Associate Review Editor
The role of the Associate Review Editor includes reviewing a minimum of two manuscripts and/or books annually, serving as a third reviewer as necessary, and attending an annual online Editorial Board meeting. Interested academics and practitioners are invited to apply for these positions via this expression of interest process. The appointment will be made by the Editors-in-Chief and will be for a three-year term. All members of the Editorial Board will be printed on the inside cover of each journal issue and on the Journal website.

- Qualifications and experience of research in the deaf education field
- Reviewing experience in peer-reviewed journals
- Ability to work alongside the editorial team
- Ability to review a minimum of two manuscripts and/or books per year
- Ability and willingness to attend online annual editorial meetings
We are particularly interested in receiving applicants from Africa and the Americas.
